Tilapia
The second most farmed fish in the world, Tilapia was introduced as a pasdetious species in Vietnam as early as the 1950’s. Today, Vietnam processes and exports very large volumes mainly to North America, South America & Europe. The popularity of Tilapia is due to easy preparation and mild taste. They are low in saturated fats, calories, carbohydrates & sodium and are a good source of protein, Vitamin B12 and Potassium.
